I rather would support the underlying view you have put forth. Politics and political parties must not expend sacrifices of brave Indians to gain political mileage. But I think in India cheap advertising is deeply engrained within political camps. Secularism is seldom an agenda of preference. Great Article.

lol, can’t stop laughing. Keep imagining what Dhanushka must look like with the whole hostel after him (I do ofcourse substitute my own undergrad hostel as the background).

And to think of it, I was trying to find out where I can find the miraculous Joshina here in the US is how I reached this blog. Google (and you ofcourse) just brightened my day

That’s true! I found out that MJ did away with his vegetarianism in later years. Unfortunately I found this out only at the time of his memorial after his death, where I think Magic Johnson talked about how MJ relished his KFC bucket!
Well, I still remain a vegetarian, nevertheless!

MJ was a pure vegetarian till 1997. He then developed a taste for sushi (fish) which he consumed frequently till his death, i believe.
